Sunday, March 15th – A day of total rest, well, not really.
Since waking up to a phone call at 8 Am this morning, I’ve gone downstairs for a HUGE buffet breakfast which was included in our stay and then pretty much played on the computer for the rest of the afternoon – cleaning up pictures, preparing this blog, answering emails and checking up on bills that need to be paid at home – plus “calling” Tyler and Kevin at about 9:30 AM Red Wing time to chat on Skype. Then I gave my siser Pat a call and later chatted on-line so it was fun to catch up with her too. Chase has been selected as a member of a Wyoming Wrestling team and we're
all pretty excited about it for him! I usually think I’m doing pretty good when it comes to not being homesick and the conversation with them is fun but saying goodbye at the very end is REALLY difficult. I am truly enjoying this once in a lifetime experience but there are moments when I really wish I was back home with everyone…
After chatting with all of them, I went for a little walk along the waterway - it is so pretty!
This evening, Kara went to a health club to work out with Anna.
We move down towards Goteborg tomorrow to a suburb called Partille. I won’t know until I get there what kind of internet access I’ll have so I don’t know when I’ll get another chance to update the blog or send emails. In the meantime, I think of all of you often as I see things that I know some one in particular would enjoy (like the
Locks at Trollhatten made me think of Larry and Scottie and the knitting at the Museum made me think of my mom, Pam Horlitz, Sally and Becky R). Take care!!!!
